Two weeks ago Isla and I started a weekly "Mommy & Me" preschool class at the preschool I'm hoping Isla will attend when she is older. Isla is a little shy at school, but is in pure heaven! The class meets for an hour and a 15 minutes every Friday. It starts with a thematic play period (week 1 was colors and last week was food), next the class cleans up and has snack, and then everyone goes outside to play on the playground. After playground time there is a short circle - a few songs and a story.
Isla is one of the younger kids in the class, since it is actually a 2 year old class, but she is keeping up with everyone and is so interested in all the new activities. She loves her teacher, Miss Monique, and always wants to bring her toys to show her.
