We had an amazing Easter in Yuma with our "God Family." Jason is still on deployment & we missed him a lot, but other than that, Easter was just wonderful!
Our house has been decorated for the past month, but the week before Easter Isla & I got ready by decorating eggs & having an egg hunt with Charlotte. Isla really liked dying the eggs & enjoyed eating them even more. We successfully reintroduced eggs a few weeks before, just in time for Easter!

Isla & Charlotte loved running around the yard looking for eggs. The eggs had Sesame Street Easter stickers in them. Later Isla slathered her dining table with Sesame Street Easter stickers.

We drove out to Yuma on Friday.
On Saturday we went to the base egg hunt. We missed the first hunt, so Isla did the 4-6 year old hunt with Teal. Pure Chaos! It was a parenting error on our part to let her go, because she didn't get a single egg. She stood in the middle of the grass & started crying. Luckily Teal shared some eggs with Isla and peace was restored. (She also made up for it at our family hunt on Easter.)

The girls also got to meet the Easter bunny. Isla was THRILLED! She could not get enough of the bunny & had to give him an extra hug after the photo. Much different than her visit with Santa.

After the hunt we dyed eggs. Isla really loved coloring on the eggs.

On Saturday, Stacy had her baby sitter watch the girls & we went out to celebrate Andrew's birthday. We swung by the Q but it was too smokey to stay long, so we went to downtown Yuma for some delicious Italian food. Isla didn't fall asleep the entire time we were gone!

The girls woke up Easter morning to find baskets left by the Easter Bunny. They had so much fun opening all the goodies in their baskets. After baskets we had a big Easter breakfast & headed off to church.

Avreigh, Teal & Isla's baskets...

Check out my handsome husband & beautiful daughter!

Church was crowded but nice. Avreigh & Isla didn't quite make it through mass, so the last few minutes were spent listening to speakers outside while the girls ran around. Afterward we had a delicious lunch & an egg hunt.
