Isaac had his 2 month appointment today. It was a doozy!
Isla has been sick for the past 8 days with a junky cold that won't go away, so it also turned into a check up for Isla. (She might have a sinus infection - if she isn't improving in a few days we have antibiotics for her. Also, one of her tubes fell out and is sitting in her ear. That makes my ear tickle just thinking about it, but is normal and doesn't appear to bother her at all.)
Isaac has been growing!
Here are the stats (almost 10 weeks):
Height: 22.24 inches (17.89%)
Weight: 11 lbs. 8 oz. (37.5%)
Head Circumference: 15.98 inches (59.91 %)
Isaac got 4 shots and the oral rotavirus vaccine. I forgot how many they got in the first year appointments. It totally stinks, but he cried for just a moment and has been pretty much sleeping since.
Isaac has had blood in his stools off and on for the past few days. The next step is for me to cut out 100% of soy and possibly eggs. (Ugh!)
He got a referral to a pediatric GI. It is a different one than Isla's so hopefully she will be good. Knowing his genes, this is probably going to all amount to a big PITA that he outgrows in a few months to a year.

Oh MAN, your poor family with all the GI issues, I'm so sorry :( It could always be WORSE, I suppose, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't SUCK to have to remove so many things from your diet! I hope it resolves quickly!
