We've been having lots of playdates & outings lately. Today we fed the ducks at the library & they were so hungry they tried pecking my feet. Isla fell backwards as the ducks advanced on her. She didn't freak out, but when I asked if she wanted to feed more ducks today & she laughed & then said "No, not today." very seriously.
Isla has been saying all kinds of funny things too. She was trying on my chapstick & after trying two different chapsticks she turned to me & said, "Cuties usually wear two make-ups?" I asked if she meant chapsticks & she said, "Yes, Cuties usually wear two chapsticks." Guess who the cutie is that she is referring too?
Today after a playdate she told me that her favorite parts of the playdate were, "getting nakey without even a diaper" (they played on a slip & slide) & "Finding that Noah has Lightening McQueen & Mader that are just like my Lightening McQueen & Mader in my bed." (She is really into Cars - the first movie & sleeps with a matchbox Lightening McQueen & Mader.)
