Ultra Cool!

Here's a blurry little picture of our Gummy Bear! You can see the head on the left with one arm and hand covering part of the face. The other hand is up next to the tummy. We had the Nuchal Translucency screen today. I was very excited because Andrew got to go with me. The sonogram ended up being a little bit of a process because at first they couldn't see the baby very well and made me go drink more water and then the baby wouldn't move into the right position, so I have to come back again next week for the actual scan. The tech was able to look at Baby A's brain and the Dr. said the top of the tube looked narrow - a great sign!

Baby A looks fantastic! We saw it wiggling and bouncing and waving at us. We saw its arms and legs and head and heat and brain and bladder - absolutely amazing! The tech said it measured exactly 12 weeks (right on schedule) and the heart rate was 162 BPM (also right on target!). At 12 weeks Baby A is the size of a lime!
