Bedtime Procrastination

Isla desperately flings out conversation topics at bed time or anytime we check on her before she falls asleep in an attempt to avoid going to bed.

Here are a few of tonight's topics:
- the bunny pajamas she found today when we were packing away her 2T clothes and getting out her 3T clothes and wanted to wear, but are too big still
- how last Thursday her friend Noah wanted to his mom to repeat the drum section of It's a Small World on the CD player.
- our visit to Auntie Nell's ship tomorrow. After a morning of excitement about the visit, she announced, "I don't want to go on Auntie Nell's ship tomorrow." It turns out she was very worried about big waves and the ship moving. Andrew explained the concept of a pier and she is excited once more.
- the smoke detector (she's scared of it and wants us to put one in our room too.
- our camping trip from the summer and whether their were night creatures on the camping trip
- taking a trip to Yoo-lian to pick apples (that is what she was playing with her stuffed animals when I went in to check on her). She was doing somersaults on her bed too. Also, in Yoolian everyone wears dresses and their are no night creatures.

I- "Do Grandma and Grandpa have a girl, just like you and Daddy have a girl?"
Me - "Yes! Grandma and Grandpa's girl is me!"
