I have an amazing RN today. She is Muslim and very spiritual. She brings a cloud of peace with her when she walks into the room. Totally what I need, since in my boredom I am googling the listeria outbreak and freaking out.
We were talking about prayer today and she shared how, for her, prayer so grounding for her and allows her to face challenges in life.
She said that the reason God wants us to pray is not for him (or her, if you are talking to Isla), but for us.
Isaac never reached cardioversion, but seems to have stabilized. He now has a 6-12 hour period of intermittent tachycarrhythmia (excessively high and irregular heartbeats) each day and is stable the rest of the day. The Dr. just came in and said, usually when a stable pattern is reached with medication it doesn't change, so hopefully he will tolerate this until delivery.
